Eswar Rao: తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో విషాదం అలముకుంది. సీనియర్ నుటుడిగా, క్యారెక్టర్ ఆర్టిస్టుగా అనేక సినిమాల్లో నటించిన ఈశ్వరరావు (Eswar Rao) కన్నుమూశారు. అక్టోబర్ 31నే ఆయన మృతి చెందగా విషయం ఆలస్యంగా వెలుగు చూసింది. ఇటివల ఆయన అమెరికాలోని మిచిగాన్ లో ఉంటున్న తన కుమార్తె ఇంటికి వెళ్లారు. అక్కడే ఆయన తుది శ్వాస విడిచారు. దీంతో తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ విచారం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ఎన్టీఆర్ తరం నుంచి అనేక సినిమాల్లో నటించిన ఈశ్వరరావు ప్రేక్షకులకు సుపరిచితుడు.
దాసరి నారాయణరావు దర్శకత్వంలో వచ్చిన ‘స్వర్గం నరకం’ సినిమాతో ఆయన నటుడిగా పరిచయం అయ్యారు. మోహన్ బాబు కూడా అదే సినిమాతో పరిచయమయ్యారు. సినిమా మంచి విజయం సాధించడంతో అనేక సినిమాల్లో అవకాశాలు సంపాదించారు ఈశ్వరరావు. ‘స్వర్గం నరకం’ సినిమాలో నటనకు కాంస్య నందిని గెలుచుకున్నారు. ప్రేమాభిషేకం, యేగపురుషుడుతోపాటు 200లకు పైగా సినిమాల్లో నటించారు. చివరిగా ఆయన 1992లో వచ్చిన చిరంజీవి (Chiranjeevi) ఘరానామొగుడులో నటించారు. అనంతరం అనేక సీరియల్స్ లో నటించారు.
