The concept of Village Secretariat has received a humongous response from the public. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was appreciated for his innovative thought that helped to increase the employment opportunities.
But the rules and regulations framed, for those who are selected for the jobs in Village Secretariat, are now troubling the employees. According to the rules, an employee of Village Secretariat, is supposed to undergo a two years of probation period and work for a minimum of three years, without jumping into other jobs.

Not many will be willing to take up Village Secretariat jobs for longer periods as the salary is quite less. They chose to work over there, while pursuing other courses or trying for other bigger jobs. So the rule is now troubling those, who have been already employed in the Village Secretariat.
While the concept has brought a huge positive response towards the government, the working period restriction is making it negative. Thus the YSRCP government has failed in keeping up the positivity with the scheme, which was much lauded, in the past.
