Telangana: FIR filed on Amit Shah, Kishan Reddy

It is known that the Election Commission had already ordered political parties to refrain from using children for their election campaigns.

In this context, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Kishan Reddy booked for using Children in election-related activities in Hyderabad.

According to the First Information Report issued by Moghalpura police, Home Minister Amit Shah on May 1 have participated in an election Rally from Ladarwaza to Sudha talkies in Hyderabad Loksabha Constituency in Telangana State.

The rally concluded with a public meeting at Sudha Talkies where there were a few Children along with Amith Shah on the dais. One of the Children was seen with the BJP symbol.

Hyderabad BJP candidate K Madhavi Latha, Secunderabad candidate G Kishan Reddy and BJP MLA Raja Singh are also accused according to the FIR. These BJP leaders will now have to face legal action for the illicit use of children in their campaign.
