G Kishan Reddy, the union minister of state for home affairs and a BJP member representing Secunderabad constituency visited Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (TIMS). It’s a 14-storey building at the sports complex in Gachibowli which was remodelled into a hospital dedicated for covid-19 treatment.
Today morning he asserted that Delhi has fabricated certain methods to curb corona virus and said the recovery rate is 84%. Along with all states in the nation , “I am mentioning the state government (Telangana) to concentrate on testing, tracing and treatment”. He said there is a dire need to build the quantity of tests in the state and urged to adopt Delhi model to improve the covid-19 recovery rate.
The union minister stated “The State government should take care of medical professionals involved in COVID-19 treatment. All hospitals should ensure that required quantities of oxygen are available. The Centre has provided 1,200 ventilators to Telangana. N-95 masks and PPE kits and HCQ tablets are also being sent to the state,” Down the lane, to battle off the covid-19, the Centre will send sufficient quantities of PPE kits and ventilators to Telangana, he added.
He suggested the covid patients to get the health check in government hospitals and rather not rush to private hospitals owing to the whopping fee charged by them.
