Tamannah summoned over illegal streaming of IPL!

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been drawn into a case regarding unauthorized IPL match broadcasts. The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has called her to testify about the matter, scheduling her appearance for April 29. Similarly, actor Sanjay Dutt has been linked to the case and was due for questioning earlier in the week, but due to prior commitments, he requested an alternative date.

According to reports, The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has summoned actress Tamannaah Bhatia to inquire about the illicit streaming of IPL 2023 on the Fairplay App, which allegedly resulted in significant financial losses for Viacom. She is expected to present herself to the Maharashtra Cyber on April 29.

It is alleged that both Tamannaah and Sanjay endorsed FairPlay’s associated app, Mahadev, which is a betting platform.

It is also believed that over 20 influencers who promoted the FairPlay app across various channels may soon be summoned to give their statements.
