Tamil Nadu govt permits 100% theatre occupancy, big boost to Master

In what could be considered as a massive boost to the forthcoming Pongal releases, the government of Tamil Nadu has permitted to increase the seating capacity of movie theaters, and multiplexes from 50% to 100%.

Th government order comes to effect immediately and it would mean that theatres can run to full capacity during the Pongal season.

Vijay‘s Master, and STR’s Eeswaran which are gearing up for release this Pongal season will be largely benefitted with the government’s decision.

The government ordered theatre managements to screen precautionary measures for Covid-19 in order to create awareness amongst the audience.

Tamil Nadu is now the first state to permit 100% seating occupancy in movie theaters and multiplexes.

While Vijay’s Master is gearing up for release on 13th January, STR’s Eeswaran will be hitting the big screens on 14th.
