Starring Tamil superstar Vijay in the lead role, Master was supposed to hit the big screens this summer. But the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown resulted in postponement of the film’s release.
Now that movie theaters have been permitted to re-open, the makers of Master are planning to release the film coming Sankranthi season.
A short while ago, Master completed its censor formalities and was accredited a U/A certificate. An official poster confirming the same was also unveiled.
Multiple reports claim that Master will be out in theaters on 13th January but the makers are yet to officially announce the release date. Going by the latest developments, Sankranthi release for Master is all but certain.
The film also has Vijay Sethupathi in a prominent role. This will mark the maiden collaboration of two superstars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi.
Lokesh Kanagaraj of Khaidi fame is at the helm for Master.
