Actor Siddharth mas made several comments attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party and its members, over various issues. However, one particular comment of his has especially received major backlash from everyone.
Siddharth compared Karnataka BJP MP from Bengaluru South constituency Tejaswi Surya with terrorist Ajmal Kasab. This was over a scam involving hospitals, which are booking beds for just a single community, and are not allowing the beds to be given to the people of any other community. Tejaswi Surya also developed a website for booking hospital beds in Bengaluru, after he spoke about the scam. This was when Siddharth took to Twitter and compared the MP to Kasab.
Taking to Twitter, Siddharth tweeted “@Tejasvi_Surya is far more dangerous and just a decade older than #AjmalKasab. Save this tweet. It will, unfortunately, age well,” which has upset a large group of people.
Yes, it is a given that Siddharth received many death threats and rape threats aimed at him and his family members, which is unacceptable. However, people opined that this doesn’t mean that the actor compares people to terrorists. Some even said that Siddharth needs to tone down his aggression. Tejaswi Surya is yet to react to the issue, and many are of the opinion that he might take Siddharth to court, over the issue.
