Postponement of RRR has created new headaches for other film makers. It is known that Rajamouli’s RRR which is scheduled for release on July 30th has postponed its release to January 8th, 2021. Shooting delay is said to be the main reason. Also the film is getting released in 10 languages which will take more time than anticipated. That’s why to have ample time for post production works Rajamouli decided to go for Sankranthi.
However, this movie turned against few of the films which are looking for Sankranthi to cash in the festive season. Acutally Rajamouli and Co doesn’t need a festive release for humongous openings. So certainly it is a setback for Allu Arjun – Sukumar film. They have initially scheduled their release date for Sankranthi 2021 and have scheduled shooting according to that.
But now they are looking for either Dussehra 2020 or Summer 2021. Coming for Dussehra festival has few problems. They might have to clash with Prabhas’s O Dear or Megastar – Koratala Shiva flick. Going for Summer means, production costs will escalate further. So Sukku and team are chalking out plans to figure out the new release date. Allu Arjun might join the shoot of this flick next month.
