It is known that Superstar Rajinikanth is playing an extended cameo in his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush’s upcoming film, titled Laal Salaam.
Recently, the 72-year-old actor shared a picture with former Indian cricketer and first time ever Cricket World Cup-winning skipper Kapil Dev. Taking to Twitter, Rajini shared the photograph from the sets of Laal Salaam and wrote, “It is my honour and privilege working with the Legendary, most respected and wonderful human being Kapildevji, who made India proud winning for the first time ever… Cricket World Cup.”
Going by the tweet, it looks like the former Indian captain will be seen playing a role in Laal Salaam. In the picture, we can see the duo engrossed in talking to each other.
Besides this movie, Rajinikanth has several biggies in the pipeline. He will team up with director TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame for his next yet-untitled Tamil project. He also has a movie with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
