Tamil actor Dhanush is teaming up with Tollywood director Sekhar Kammula for his next film, “Kubera,” which also stars actor Nagarjuna in a significant role.
Dhanush went to great lengths for his character, filming for over 10 hours without a mask near a garbage dump in Mumbai to portray raw emotions authentically.
The film reportedly explores Dhanush’s character as an underdog, showcasing two contrasting shades, ultra-rich and poor.
Known for his intense portrayals, Dhanush aims to deliver another compelling performance in “Kubera” to prove himself after the mixed results of his recent releases, including “Captain Miller” and “Ayalaan.”
With this being his third bilingual venture, following “VIP 2” and “Sir,” Dhanush is determined to make a mark with “Kubera.”
