Over 84 lakh people got vaccinated on June 21

The free vaccination drive to all those over 18 years of age recently started in the country. More than 84 lakh people were vaccinated in a single day on June 21. Around 42 lakh people got vaccinated on April 2. Now, more than 84 lakh people got vaccinated. This is the highest record created so far.

On the other hand, the central government announced that 55 per cent of them are under the age of 18-44. The union govt said that as it provided adequate vaccines, youth on a large scale received their vaccine. This is a testament to the effectiveness of the centralized vaccination policy, which has been distributed in over 68,000 centres.

Central government sources said that the number of vaccines given in our country in one day is equal to the population of New Zealand and Israel.
