Now, a biopic on APJ Abdul Kalam

In the spree of biopics that were made in the recent times for the political mileage, here comes a genuine attempt, a biopic on India’s missile man and former President APJ Abdul Kalam.

Abhishek Pictures Chief Abhishek Agarwal has announced the project on the occasion of National Technology Day yesterday. AK Entertainments and Dream merchants Inc are also joining hands with Abhishek Pictures to produce the film on a large scale.

As the biopic was announced on National Technology Day, several opine that the film would only focus on Kalam’s journey as the head of India’s nuclear programme and refrain from covering on his term as the President of India.

But, as Abdul Kalam was immensely appreciated for his presidential skills and his concern towards children during his reign, the makers may not risk by ignoring this significant part of his life. The cast, crew and other details of the mega project are expected to be out soon.
