In a shocker, the Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi candidate, Balbir Singh Jakhar’s son has claimed that his father gave Rs. 6 crore to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, for the confirmation of his ticket in the AAP.
Speaking to the media, Balbir’s son Uday said, “My father joined politics about three months ago, he had paid Arvind Kejriwal Rs 6 crore for a ticket, I also have evidence that he had paid for this ticket.”
Uday further questioned that why AAP allotted a ticket to his father, who is not even part of the Anna Hazare movement. He clarified that his father was allotted a ticket from West Delhi, after the Rs. 6 crores payment.
Balbir Singh, responding to the allegations, strictly denied those, saying that his son never really lived with him and was not aware of anything about his candidature.
Uday is living with his mother, since Balbir divorced her in 2009. Going with Uday’s allegations, the opposition leader from BJP, Praveen Khandelwal demanded a probe to Election Commission.
