A case has been registered against TDP leader and former minister Pratipati Pulla Rao‘s wife Venkayamma in Hyderabad. Jubileehills police have registered an FIR against her for allegedly illegally occupying a 1519-yard plot of land belonging to Jubileehills Housing Society Survey No. 853F. The board stating that the land belongs to the Jubileehills Housing Society was also removed.
The Housing Society lodged a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station last night alleging that Prathipati Venkayamma grabbed the land. In the complaint, Housing board members alleged that Venkayamma and her followers were trying to occupy the place by acting in a threatening manner. She says the place belongs to her. Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
