A man named Mekala Srinivas Yadav filed a land grabbing case against Uppal TRS MLA Subhash Reddy, as Reddy has allegedly interfered in a 90-acre land dispute case at Kapra under Survey No. 152 and asked Yadav for money. Yadav is said to have approached the Court directly as he felt that there would be no use in approaching the Police department.
While the case itself is a normal one that doesn’t warrant for Yadav to approach the court, he did so because he wanted to make sure that the case was taken seriously. When a few people accused Etala Rajender of forcibly occupying their lands, the TRS government, under Chief Minister KCR’s leadership, immediately suspended Etala from all of his posts in the government and even dismissed him as an MP.
Nearly 6-7 years ago, KCR said that he’s not the kind of person to show any sort of difference between his son and an outsider, and anyone who is at fault would have to be punished. These words have now come to the forefront, given the kind of actions that were taken against Etala. A lot of investigations were ordered against Etala, involving several organisations. There are several cases against several TRS members that are not paid enough attention to. Yadav didn’t want a similar situation to happen to his case, which is why he approached the court first.
With so many cases against every other TRS member, against which no action being taken, and against which no one responsible is paying any attention, it is now to be seen if Yadav’s case will be looked into and if Reddy will face the necessary consequences, or if he too would go unscathed, being a member of the ruling party.
