It is quite common for the movie celebrities to attract huge crowds for the public meetings. But the same may not be so easy for the political celebrities. After taking the oath as the Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the US for the first time to interact with the Telugu community.
When the young CM was addressing a convention in Dallas, he received a massive response from the Telugu NRIs, spread over the entire huge auditorium. Even the organizers were shocked over the constant cheers for Jagan from the audiences. It is a first of its kind craze for a political event in the US, which clearly reveals the massive craze of Jagan among the NRIs.
There were several rumors during the elections, that the YSRCP activists struggled a lot to gather the crowds for the public meetings of Jagan. It was also heard that the party distributed money to the public, for attending the road shows of Jagan, before the elections. But it seems, the things have taken a magical turn, after he won in the elections with a humongous majority.
A few others say that Jagan may not enjoy the similar craze in the Telugu states. As NRIs get a chance of meeting a Chief Minister very rarely, they prefer to gather in large numbers. As Jagan occupied the CM chair for the first time, his impact could be a bit more than others.
