Anushka’s ‘Nishabdham’ premiered on Amazon Prime Video very recently and it garnered a rather poor response from Telugu audience. The film was criticised for its bland narrative and lackluster storyline.
Going into the story, we are now hearing that an internal clash costed the film big time.
Apparently, Kona Venkat and the producer of the film, TG Vishwa Prasad had a few creative differences right from the start. They simply weren’t on the same page and that is said to have taken a toll on the final output.
Both Kona Venkat and the producer gave varied inputs during the scripting process and that showed an adverse effect on the film, as a whole. This saga went on till the very last day of shoot.
Except for the female lead’s characterisation, no aspect of Nishabdham impressed the audience and there seem to be some valid reasons behind the same.
Debutante Hemant Madhukar directed the film. Anushka, Madhavan, Michael Madsen, Anjali, and Shalini Pandey played key roles in it.
