The installation of NTR statue in the form of Lord Krishna at Khammam is finally denied permission. The statue was supposed to be erected in the middle of the Lakaram pond.
Earlier, the court has put a stay to the installation of the statue because of multiple written petitions against it.
Several organizations like Yadav sanghas, Srikrishna JAC etc filed the petitions objecting NTR statue in the form of Lord Krishna.
They also objected saying that political leaders’ statues cannot be installed at the public places.
The statue which was supposed to happen on May 28 will be halted for now. The court has asked the organisers to counter with necessary details at next hearing on June 6.
