Multiple media outlets reported that Ravi Teja gave his nod for the direct OTT release of his upcoming action entertainer, ‘Krack’ which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni.
However, Gopichand refuted these rumors when we enquired about Krack’s OTT release plans. He confirmed that they will be giving the Ravi Teja starrer a theatrical release.
Incidentally, Ravi Teja recently stated that he is open to OTT opportunities as an actor and is okay with direct OTT releases if the producers are satisfied with the financial prospects. This was misinterpreted by a few media portals and multiple rumors regarding the OTT release of Krack surfaced online.
Gopichand Malineni stated that ‘Krack’ will be getting a theatrical release and any news report claiming otherwise is not authentic. He says the producers are ready to wait till normalcy is restored and cinema theatres are operational.
This pretty much makes it clear that the speculations and rumors regarding Krack’s release are fake and baseless. Had it not been for the Covid-19 pandemic, ‘Krack’ would have released this summer.
