Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan likely to be arrested

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was ousted from power, is likely to be arrested after a blasphemy case has been registered against him and others in Faisalabad.

As per reports, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was allegedly hounded by Imran Khan’s supporters in Saudi Arabia’s Madina last Thursday. Following this, Pak’s Punjab police on Saturday night registered an FIR against Imran Khan and 150 others, including former ministers Fawad Chaudhry and Sheikh Rasheed, former deputy speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Soori, former adviser to the PM Shahbaz Gul, and Ex PM’s close aides in London, Anil Musarrat and Sahibzada Jehangir.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has declared that Imran Khan will be arrested in a case connected to hooliganism and sloganeering against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation visiting Madina.
