In both Telugu States and in the entire country, the COVID-19 cases are increasing at a rapid pace and the center along with the co-ordination of the state governments has decided to use their resources for medical purposes. Now, 215 more trains are installed with top-class medical facilities for the Corona infected persons. The center has decided to treat the suspects and the people with flu symptoms in those trains by placing extra beds in the coaches. Only one person is allowed to be treated in each cabin and in rare cases, two persons ate allowed to stay in one cabin in a compartment.
In Andhra Pradesh Vizag, Vijayawada, Guntur, Palas, Vizianagaram, Renigunta, Mantralayam Road, Konadapuram, Diguva Metta railway stations are facilitated with these kinds of special trains. The health department from railways will treat the infected and suspected persons.
They have oxygen facilities for emergency situations in order to send the people for critical care to the hospitals. The staff who are finalized by the District Medical Officer are allowed to work in these railways and they are provided with food and other facilities by the government.
After the COVID-19 cases are decreased in the state, the officials with sanitize the entire train and will hand them over to the railway department.
