Can Indian Govt ban on Chinese apps help Indian companies?

In a striking move Indian Government issued ban on almost 59 Chinese apps and few of them are super popular in the nation. Tiktok is well known app to one and all in India and there are people who call themselves celebrities on this platform. This sort of a ban will surely push the Chinese app addicts to find alternative apps in the market. Chingari is said to be the Indian version of Tiktok and it is said to be offering more options compared to Tiktok.

Similarly, almost all the Chinese apps have an alternative in Indian market. Usage of these apps will raise the popularity of Indian companies which will in turn generate lots of jobs inside India and hence the money. Apart from a financial blow to China, India will be creating lots of jobs inside the nation with this move.

Generally, Indians give superior status to foreign products instead of Indian made. Lets hope that this kind of a view will change now and Indian products and applications will get good demand in India. This move might be the start of a higher brand value for Indian made products.
