ZEE Media, which had already acquired the rights of Ram Charan’s RC15 from the producer Dil Raju, is now after the rights of Thalapthy Vijay’s Thalapathy66.
As per reports, ZEE is offering in upwards of Rs 200 crores for the all-language satellite and digital rights of Thalapathy66. They intend to acquire Telugu, Tamil, and another South Indian language version digital and satellite rights of the film.
Dil Raju now has to take the final call on Thalapathy66’s rights now and an official announced is expected to be made shortly.
Thalapathy66 is yet to commence shoot, but the film is already registering exceptional pre-release business. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and it is expected to hit the floors in the next couple of months.
