YSRCP members the biggest enemies of their party?

When politics are taken into consideration, the rule by the book is that people belonging to the same party should always work in a manner that suits the party, and never in a way that would bring the party down. The rule by the book also says that it is usually the opposition party members that make it their duty to bring down the other party. This is not what the YSRCP members seem to be following, though, given that they’re the ones scarring the image of their party the most.

While Minister Kodali Nani is infamous for his abusive language – which seems like the only language he knows to speak, it is the recent comments that were made by Sattenapalli MLA and party spokesperson for many years, Ambati Rambabu, that are causing all the ruckus for YSRCP right now. Rambabu shocked everyone when he called the Kapu community “drunkards”. This came as an utter shock to everyone, given that Rambabu is himself from the Kapu community. Given that the Kapu community also happens to be a politically influential one, a lot of unrest has been caused because of Rambabu’s comments. Rambabu also commented that there’s a lot of criminality in backward and weaker classes. Things got a lot worse after Rambabu went on to defend his comments. It was only after things turned truly sour that Rambabu finally apologised.

On the other hand, Kovuru MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s comments on YSRCP’s housing scheme turned out to be an utter fiasco for the party. He openly criticised the houses, saying that they are too small and congested for anyone to even consummate their marriage. With Ambati Rambabu and Prasanna Kumar Reddy making truly shocking comments against their own party, opposition party members have only taken this as an opportunity to attack the ruling party, making YSRCP members the enemies of their own party.
