Exclusive: Writer and his Pen costs One Crore

Why would Dil Raju allow this writer to quit SVC if Hello Guru Prema Kosame were to be a blockbuster. His earlier film Nenu Local was a money spinner largely due to the combination of Keerthy Suresh and Nani.

Prasanna thinks that continuation in SVC means the entire credit of a project would go to Dil Raju. Why not, the producer does everything ..from listening to a script, judging its viability, setting its cast and crew and till the publicity, he is all there.

Why would a writer alone stand out? Another reason for quitting SVC he is said to have told his colleagues that Dil Raju doesn’t experiment, refuses to come out of formula films and doesn’t encourage new stories.

He might have got paid one crore at one time, but he keeps harping about his payment to every Tom, Dick and Harry he bumps into.

The quotation is okay for a marriage proposal but doesn’t work in business angles, we have to reduce our payment based on each project’s history.

Producers are getting put off by this writer as he says, “five paisa taggina, na pen oka aksharam kuda rayadhu. One crore is final.” Ahem! Must say he is living in unrealistic times.
