The upcoming big sci-fi film “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring Prabhas, has revealed Deepika Padukone’s intresting character. She will play Padma role, the wife of Kalki, portrayed by Prabhas. Padma character is depicted as the reincarnation of Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, in Hindu mythology concept.
Kalki, the protagonist, represents the final avatar of the great Lord Vishnu, aiming to restore righteousness in the main Kali Yuga era. The main Deepika’s role adds depth to the film’s actual theme of good versus evil big fight.
Excitingly, Deepika will dub her own voice for the character. Recent social media updates show filming in Italy, featuring romantic scenes between Prabhas and Disha Patani. The team will soon return to India to wrap up production. With its star-studded cast and mythological storyline, “Kalki 2898 AD” promises to be a cinematic spectacle, hitting theaters on May 9th.
