Thalapathy Vijay and director Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming much awaited film has been titled Varisu.
The makers of the film today announced the title, a day before the Beast actor’s 48th birthday, along with the movie’s first-look poster.
The first-look poster features Vijay in a grey suit and it has the tagline ‘The Boss Returns’.
Varisu stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The movie is expected to hit screens during Pongal 2023. It also has prominent actors such as Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha, Srikanth, Shaam, and Samyuktha Shanmuganathan in pivotal roles.
Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under their Sri Venkateshwara Creations production banner, the film has music by Thaman S, cinematography by Karthik Palani, and editing by Praveen KL.
