Uranium Mining in Nallamala forest turned out to be a hot topic in social media. Youngsters started campaigning on this topic and it reached the Telengana government officials. Speaking on this, KTR reacted positively towards the campaign saying that the Uranium Mining will be a threat to the entire ecosystem. He even talked about it to the CM of Telengana KCR and the duo came back to the social media with an update with short duration.
KTR announced in the legislative council on the disapproval and KCR declared that Telengana government will not be permitting the Uranium Mining. He further mentioned that the government will start a full fledged movement, if the central government doesn’t take any concerned action on this aspect.
Congress government in united AP gave green signal for the Uranium Mining but as it is disturbing the entire ecosystem, Telengana government decided to stop the activities. Few cases have been registered on people falling sick due to the mining activity.
