Young IT Minister of Telengana, KTR studied and worked in USA before moving into politics in India. He has done his MBA in City University of New York and worked for a while in USA. In 2009, KTR started his political journey and is with his father KCR during the Telengana movement.
After TRS came into power in Telengana, KTR took the position of IT Minister and implemented several methodologies which were seen in abroad locations. With the help of ISB and IIITH, Telengana government created a startup ecosystem in Hyderabad which is expected to turn into the biggest one in India.
KTR has been showing his NRI traits right from the beginning and in the recent times his view on the Motor Vehicle Act 2019, turned to be another one. While KCR mentioned that this act which has heavy fines for traffic violators, won’t be implemented in Telengana, KTR stated that there is nothing wrong in imposing heavy fines on violators of traffic.
In abroad locations like USA, fines will be a bomb and if people violate the traffic rules, they will have a tough time financially. This makes people behave responsibly on roads and this has been the view of KTR as well. As of now, KCR decided to have a panel look into the new Vehicle Motor Act and the government will decide after they submit the report.
