Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up with the film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is expected to blast the box office all over the nation. The film is said to be hitting the screens on October 2nd. Right from the beginning of the film, till date, there have been lots of changes and the most important one is the change in the climax.
As already mentioned, the climax scene of the flick is changed from a happy one to an intense episode of Sye Raa being killed by Britishers. May be, Megastar Chiranjeevi felt like showing the real story in the most realistic way as per the history, without modifying it to fit the audience interest. This is actually a trend setting decision as the success rate of a sad ending film is quite low in the industry.
Generally, a sad ending story will be accepted by Tamil audience but the audience in other film industries will expect that they go home with a happy feeling after the flick. Taking a decision opposite to this aspect can alter the commercial success of the venture and for a film which is being filmed with an outstanding budget, the decision can be considered to be a trend setting one.
One has to appreciate Chiru’s decision and intention to show the audience the right story without any alterations.
