Senior TRS leader and former minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has turned a big headache for his own party leaders ahead of the Khammam Municipal Corporation on April 30.
Nageswara Rao from Khammam is upset at KCR and TRS party for many reasons. With this, the leader is staying away from the party and not taking the upcoming corporation polls sincerely.
With no proper support from Tummala, who has a strong following in Khammam, the party is taking the heat from the opposition parties.
As per reports, TRS has sidelined him in the district politics ever since he lost the 2018 December Assembly polls. Following his defeat, the party evinced interest in minister Puvvada Ajay and MP Nama Nageshwar Rao in the Khammam district. Besides this, Tummala is also disappointed for not getting the MLC seat, which was promised by the party.
