Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has finally got relief in the fodder scam case. He was also granted bail in the Dumka treasury case related to the scandal. This paved the way for Lalu to get out of jail.
Lalu was convicted in the fodder scandal during his tenure as Bihar chief minister in the 1990s. He has been in jail since 2017. A total of four cases have been registered against Lalu in this regard. The Jharkhand High Court recently granted bail. However, the court ordered Lalu not to leave the country without the court’s permission. It also clarified that the address and phone number should not be changed.
