TRS leaders announce 500 crores of relief fund for Coronavirus

The number of cases positive for Coronavirus in Telangana has increased to 40. And there is a high possibility of more cases surfacing in the coming weeks.

So, as people’s representatives, TRS leaders wanted to do something in their capacity for the helpless and the suffering. So, they came up with a very unique idea and they must be appreciated for this generosity.

The Ministers, M.Ps, MLAs and MLCs have all donated their 1 month salary each + the 1 month fund given to develop their constituency to Chief Minister’s relief fund.

This total amount sums up to 500 crores. And the MPs are willing to give up their grants of 1 year. Every MP will be given 5 crores grant to develop their community. So, 16 MPs are willing to donate 80 crores of this 2020 year to this relief fund.

TRS Parliament Party leader K.Kesav Rao and Deputy leader Banda Prakash have expressed the decision to their leader KCR.

While KCR was immensely happy to learn this generosity from his party members, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members have said that they will be donating their 1 month salaries to Prime Minister’s relief fund.
