Traffic rules to be made stricter in Hyderabad

The Hyderabad city police have announced that the traffic rules in the city are about to be made tighter, with a strict implementation of the same set to take place from the 28th of this month. The Hyderabad traffic police are of the opinion that enforcing stricter rules on motorists can greatly reduce the fatalities that are occurring in the city.

The police have said that driving on the wrong route, and triple driving are going to be considered as huge offenses, and those who indulge in the same can be fined Rs. 1700 for the former, and Rs. 1200 for the latter.

A strict implementation drive of these new rules is set to take place from the 28th of this month. The police said that nearly 100 lives were lost in the last three years, because motorists failed to follow these rules.
