Former Union Minister Undavalli Arun Kumar has termed the perpetrators of the demolition of idols in temples in Andhra Pradesh as treason forces.
He was of the opinion that such acts would not have been repeated if the perpetrators of such atrocities had been punished early on.
Now, about 95 per cent of the voters in the state are supporting a Hindutva national party on the issue of demolition of idols in temples.
But, during elections, the same party is unable to secure even 1 per cent of votes.
He warned that such acts done for selfish political purposes today would pose a threat to the country and the state in the future.
