After Supreme Court ordered floor test on Tuesday, asking the BJP to prove its majority, the politics of Maharashtra took a whole new turn within hours.
Both Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar who sworn in as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra recently, resigned to their posts, lashing out at the three party combine- NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena.
Now as all lines got cleared, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray is all set to become the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra, with the support of Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance. Meanwhile, the newly appointed pro-tem speaker Kalidas Kolambkar has started administering oath to 288 newly elected members in the Maharashtra assembly today.

Within a week after Devendra Fadnavis sworn in and resigned for the post of Chief Minister, Thackeray is set to sworn in as the new CM of the state on this Friday.
Meanwhile, the reports are rife that Thackeray has sent an invitation to BJP leader Amit Shah, asking him to attend the swearing in ceremony. As the severe political drama is taking place in Maharashtra for the CM chair, it should be seen, what more is awaited till Thackeray officially forms the government.
