Megastar Chiranjeevi starer film Sye Raa is all set to hit the screens. Producer Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi invested their time and money mostly on the cast and the visual effects. This flick has more visual effects work than Bahubali and the cast of the film too is the top in the industry in India, both on the North and the South side.
Whatever might be the budget of the film and the content in the film, promotions plays vital role in deciding the commercial success of the flick. But this is often ignored much by the producers as the main money part for a producer is selling the distribution rights. Later on, the commercial success will alter the profits of the distributors and won’t affect the producer much.
So, how much is Sye Raa’s promotion budget? Sources mentioned that the production team has allocated almost 5% of the total budget of the flick for promotions. As most of the money was spent on the content of the film, the promotions were having a bit of money crunch. Recently, few North Indian distributors requested Ram Charan to raise the Hindi promotions for the venture. The same is the case with few South Indian regional film industry distributors. In Telugu speaking states, there is no need to spend much on promotions. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan were trying to optimize promotional expenditure by giving secret interviews which will be aired in the media just before the film release to raise the talk on Sye Raa among the people.
