The polling season is done and dusted in Andhra Pradesh with the polling having gone on till the later hours of May 13th. Here is a look at the parliamentary constituencies that had a higher polling percentage when compared to the tally from the 2019 election. This certainly makes for an interesting reading.
Down below is the said parliamentary segments:
Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Amalapuram, Rajahmundry, Narsapuram, Eluru, Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Nandyal, Kurnool, Anantapur, Kadapa, Nellore, and Chittoor.
A higher polling percentage in the majority of the parliament segments could potentially project a clear trend either allying with the pro-government cause or the conventional anti incumbency factor.
The clear public mandate can be assessed only on the 4th of June when the counting will take place. The exit polls that will be out on the 1st of June could also give a picture of what is to come in AP’s polling trends.
