The Punjab government has increased the pace in its efforts to raise awareness on Covid vaccination in the state.
As part of that, orders were issued appointing popular actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood as the brand ambassador for the vaccination drive in Punjab.
To this end, Sonu Sood met the Punjab CM Amarinder Singh at his official residence on Sunday.
Taking to his Twitter, the Punjab CM tweeted, “I am happy to announce the appointment of actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood as the brand ambassador for the Covid Vaccination drive. I thank him for accepting this. I want every eligible citizen of the state to get the shot of Covid vaccine.”
