It is known that Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly creating obscene films and distributing them through some mobile apps. The court had sent Mr Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe to police custody till July 27.
Now, the Mumbai Crime Branch has recorded Shilpa Shetty’s statement in the pornography case. The officials want to know why the star actress had walked out of VIAAN Industries in December 2020. She was interrogated for six hours.
The Crime Branch police reached Shilpa’s house in Mumbai on Friday evening and questioned her about Raj Kundra’s business. On the other hand, it is known that Raj Kundra-based VIAAN company has become a key player in the porn rocket. Police who recently went to the company’s office found and seized 48 TB of data and 51 adult movies found.
It is heard the police will soon investigate the actress’ bank accounts as they want to know if the financial proceeds from the subscription of the apps were parked into her accounts.
