While Indian Government banned 59 Chinese apps in India raising security related issues, the leading app Tiktok tried to hire a senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi who previously saved the company from similar issue a year back.
Interestingly, Mukul Rohatgi declined the offer and mentioned that he won’t represent Tiktok this time, considering the India – China clash. This move from Mukul Rohatgi fetched appreciation from Indians all over the world. This inspiring move is expected to make other lawyers move away from Tiktok’s offer to work for them on this case.
Apart from this aspect of banning 59 Chinese apps, Indian Government is cancelling the tenders of various Chinese companies which got previously filed on nation level projects. There are few companies in India where Chinese investors hold lion share and the Indian Government is looking into those things as well.
By now, China would have understood the situation that if war happens with India, the result would be opposite of the 1962 war.
