Sankranthi 2020 Box Office Comparison Nizam Day 1: SNL vs AVPL

It is going to be an interesting battle at the Sankranthi box office this year. Two biggies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo are locking horns and the result is going to be exciting.

Already the atmosphere at the theaters is frenzy as both the star hero fans are firm to project their hero as the best. As there is only few hours left for the two biggie releases, let us have a comparison over Nizam day 1 box office.

Already Rajinikanth’s Darbar is in theaters and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru is going to be released two days later i.e., on January 11th, 2020. It is going to have 1 day earlier release than Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo and that is going to have added advantage for the Mahesh Babu’s film as on January 11th, barring a few theaters for Darbar, every other theater will screen Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Distributor for the movie in Nizam is making sure that the film will have the best release. Even Dil Raju is distributor for Ala Vaikunthapuramulo in Nizam and he promised almost 60 percent theaters for Ala Vaikunthapuramulo on Day 1. But it has to share theaters between Darbar, Sarileru Neekevvaru from its day 2.

Coming to day 1 number, irrespective of all the predictions, one thing is for sure. These two films are going to be the respective best in the star hero’s careers. With Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu is targeting a unique record. 10 Cr day 1 share is the target for Sarileru and producers are making arrangements so that it will not miss the target. While Ala Vaikunthapuramulo comparatively is going to release in lesser number of theaters than Sarileru Neekevvaru.

Nevertheless the film will be Allu Arjun’s career best. Ala Vaikunthapuramulo is all set to enter 8 Cr club and stand in top 5 when it comes to Day 1 Nizam highest collected shares.

Overall, Mahesh is going to have slight upper hand because of day ahead release and mass movie genre. But we have to wait and see how these two movies will fare when the actual day arrives. It is going to be extremely important for both the movies to gain positive talk from its early shows.
