Sampath Nandi to helm Vikramarkudu sequel?

SS Rajamouli directorial Vikramarkudu is a landmark film in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s career. The film is one of the biggest hits of Telugu cinema and was remade in most of the Indian languages.

It was already reported that veteran writer V Vijayendra Prasad is readying the script for the sequel for Vikramarkudu. As per reports, Rajamouli will not helm this project and the responsibilities will be handed over to a young director.

Now, the buzz is that Sampath Nandi has been approached to direct Vikramarkudu 2. The star director has impressed everyone with his recently released Seetimaarr, starring Gopichand in the lead role. Ravi Teja will return as the protagonist and the duo had earlier worked for Bengal Tiger. However, there is no official word on these updates yet.

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja has wrapped up the shooting of Khiladi and he is busy with ‘Ramarao On Duty’. He also has a film with Trinadha Rao Nakkina after completing his previous assignments.
