TRS Minister KTR filed a defamation petition against TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy after Revanth challenged KTR to take a drug test. In the petition, KTR stated that he has been brought into the matter unnecessarily, and not only said that Revanth would have to pay adequate compensation but that necessary action should be taken against Revanth Reddy.
In response to KTR’s petition, Revanth said that he challenged KTR to be tested simply because he’s a people’s representative and that he should be leading an ideal lifestyle, one that inspires others. He also said that KTR asked Rahul Gandhi to be tested for drugs because KTR thought that Revanth is not up to KTR’s standards, and said that KTR would invite Ivanka Trump if Rahul came.
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy commented on the issue, saying that drugs should be eradicated in the state, and said that proper steps should be taken for that. Furthermore, Revanth Reddy challenged Bandi Sanjay and RS Praveen Kumar to be tested for drugs.
