RRR: Antarvedi chariot fire is not an accident

It was a huge shock for everyone when the chariot of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple of Antarvedi caught on fire, on Saturday night. This chariot has been used for over 62 years now, for all rathotsavam and other holy processions, and never once did an incident like this occur.

With the chariot catching fire now, a lot of suspicions have been raised about the reason behind this fire. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP, has asked the Chief Minister to respond to this incident immediately, and also expressed suspicion over possible arson. He requested the CM to get the matter investigated and to make sure that those who are responsible for this, are arrested.

The government has already taken this matter seriously, and Minister Vellampalli Srinivas has said that strict action would be taken against those who are responsible for the incident. The minister has also directed the Revenue Commissioner to take the necessary steps for the reconstruction of the Antharvedi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Ratham.
