Rigging takes the voting percentage in AP to 80%

Rigging the votes is not new to the politics in the Telugu states and reportedly, the percentage of such illegal votes this time has been increased by several times and took the total voting percentage to 80%.

In a few of the rural polling booths and also in the booths, where voters could turn out in large number, both the TDP and YSRCP activists have reportedly closed the doors and have conducted the rigging. Over 30% of the votes are believed to be rigged and so the voting percentage has been drastically increased this time, the analysts opine.

Unlike in 2014 where only TDP and YSRCP are the main contestants, this time, Janasena has been identified as the third big alternative. As the new party is expected to grab the considerable number of votes, it would be a tough battle for both the big parties-TDP and YSRCP. So unwilling to take any such risk, reportedly, the activists of both the parties are making their best efforts in winning the good percentage of votes and are so involved in the rigging.

Both the parties activists were creating the high tense situation at the polling booths since morning, by indulging in the physical attacks on each other. A few of such attacks even went on to killings which threatened the voters around.
