After noticing a few of the irregularities in conducting the elections, at a few of the polling stations in Andhra Pradesh, the Election Commission has ordered for the re-polling in such five polling stations and the polling is underway today.
Keeping in mind the earlier experiences, this time, high level of security has been arranged at all the polling stations.
In Guntur and Nellore, the repolling is being held in two places and in Prakasham district, in one place. The repolling is also going on under Narasaraopet Assembly and Parliament segment, at the polling booth no 94. Under Guntur West Assembly and Parliament segments, the re-polling will also be conducted at polling booth no 244.
Reportedly, the voting percentage is good in Sullurpeta and disappointing in the rest of the polling booths. The voting percentage is not as expected due to the heat wave in several areas.
