It is known that Rajnikanth ‘s Annaatthe was being shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. However, a few crew members tested positive for Covid-19 a couple of days ago and the shoot was halted immediately.
Rajnikanth and the other unit members were instructed to self-isolate for a couple of weeks.
Today, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad issued an official statement regarding Rajnikanth’s health.
“Rajnikanth has been admitted in the hospital today morning. He was tested for Covid-19 on December 22nd and he was negative. Though he did not contract Covid, his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations and needed further evaluation for which he is admitted to the hospital,” the statement read.
Apparently, Rajnikanth’s blood pressure is fluctuating at an abnormal rate and he is also showing signs of exhaustion. Apart from these two, he is not exhibiting any other symptoms.
“Rajnikanth will be investigated and monitored closely in the hospital till his blood pressure settles down,” the medical team mentioned in the statement.
