For the unversed, the shooting of Rajinikanth‘s Annaatthe commenced in Hyderabad last week. Rajnikanth and other lead actors are taking part in this schedule.
The latest we hear is that Annaatthe shoot has been halted abruptly after 7 members of the unit have tested positive for Covid-19.
Going into the story, 7 of the crew members who have been working on the project have tested positive for coronavirus in the recent regulatory tests. Consequently, the shooting was called off and the unit members were advised to stay in self isolation for the next two weeks.
Rajinikanth was also tested for Covid-19 as a precautionary measure and his test results are awaited. He left to Chennai already and is presently in home isolation.
There is no update so as to when the shoot will be resumed. The producers will be taking the final call after assessing the situation post the two weeks self isolation period.
